Yeow favourite to win Master Chef Australia

Yeow Ling Poh is the favourite in betting to win Master Chef Australia

Poh Ling Yeow is the favourite to win Master Chef Australia – Back To Win, with the season 1 runner-up priced at $2.50 by Sportsbet.com.au

But viewers have been left frustrated by Yeow’s output on the Channel 10 cooking show, with some claiming she was “overqualified” and others querying how she could still be on the show given how basic her food is.

But that has not put the oddsmakers at top betting sites off, with the celebrity chef shortening in betting after Monday night’s episode, to narrowly shade Reynold Poenomo ($2.70) for favouritism.

Yeow has shot to prominence with several popular hospitality businesses since her initial appearance in MasterChef in 2009. She also starred on her own ABC show called Poh’s Kitchen and has a series of popular cook books.

Master Chef betting has taken on a new role at online betting sites, with the reality TV show front and centre given most sports have been delayed or cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Not only are Sportsbet offering markets on the outright winner of Master Chef Australia, they also have markets on who will be the next contestant to be eliminated.
