Brisbane Lions v Adelaide Crows betting tips and prediction
Welcome to our Brisbane v Adelaide betting tips and winner prediction for their AFL round 7 clash at the Gabba on Sunday.
The Lions are 1.33 favourites to defeat the Crows (3.30) despite succumbing to the much-improved Melbourne outfit at the MCG last Saturday.
The Crows are fresh off a heart-stopping one-point victory over St Kilda at home, which was in emotional circumstances, given skipper Jordan Dawson did not play following the death of his brother.
MORE: AFL betting previews
Dawson has been recalled for this clash, with ruckman Toby Murray also included. Demons recruit Alex Neal-Bullen and Luke Nankervis are the unlucky pair to make way.
The Lions have also boosted their ruck brigade, with Darcy Fort called up to support Sam Draper, while Connor McKenna and James Tunstill have also been included.
Noah Answerth, Jarrod Berry and Zane Zakostelsky go out of the Lions team.

Brisbane v Adelaide betting tips
Our AFL betting expert has assessed the markets and found some value Brisbane v Adelaide tips:
Izak Rankine 2+ goals
Rankine has threatened at times in 2026, but is yet to explode, and it has seen his odds of kicking 2+ goals balloon out to 2.85 with Sportsbet. Even against Brisbane, these odds are too long for us to pass up on such a talented player.
Hugh McCluggage 25+ posessions
The Lions superstar is on the path back from injury and was subdued in their loss last week. He’s ballooned out to 1.53 to reach 25+ and the Lions lose Berry, who can be prolific, which is good enough for us.
Under 188.5 total points
Both of these teams eclipsed 100 points last week, but were locked in games against developing teams. We expect this to be a much more finals-like intensity and with a bit of rain on the Brisband horizon we think the 188.5 over/under mark is a little high. Take the 1.90 wth Australian betting sites with confidence.
Brisbane v Adelaide prediction
The Lions at home should have the edge over Crows, but there were some worrying signs for Chris Fagan’s team against the improved Demons. We think the Crows, who are nearing full strength, will push the reigning premier all the way and the Crows plus 20.5 is the hill we will die on. Our final Brisbane v Adelaide prediction? Lions by six points.
