Relax Gaming drops first arcade-style casino game
Relax Gaming has entered a new game category with the launch of Money Plane, an arcade-style title that reimagines its hugely successful Money Train franchise beyond traditional slot gameplay.
The release marks the supplier’s first foray into arcade-style gaming, with Money Plane replacing the familiar train setting with an aerial adventure while retaining the high-volatility appeal that made the Money Train series one of the industry’s most recognisable slot franchises.
Rather than conventional reel-based gameplay, Money Plane introduces five selectable volatility levels, each offering a different maximum win potential, allowing players to tailor the level of risk to their preferred playing style.
The title also incorporates achievement-based rewards designed to encourage repeat play and provide operators with additional long-term player engagement opportunities.
The launch comes just weeks after Relax Gaming confirmed that Money Train 5 will be released in September, continuing one of the supplier’s most successful game series.
Chief Product Officer at Relax Gaming Tony O’Mahony said Money Plane represented an opportunity to expand the franchise into an entirely new style of gameplay.
“Money Plane isn’t just another game, but one that gave us an opportunity to extend our creativity and quality into a new style of gameplay. We’ve worked hard to create a fun arcade-style experience that will appeal to a wide range of players,” O’Mahony said.
“With Money Plane, we’re taking fans of our Money Train universe to an entirely new stage, creating a fresh player experience that feels familiar, while opening the door to a whole new adventure. And with Money Train 5 coming out in September, it’s a great time to be a fan of the franchise.”
Money Plane is the latest example of iGaming suppliers expanding beyond traditional slot mechanics as player demand grows for alternative casino game formats, including arcade and crash-style experiences that offer faster-paced gameplay and new engagement features.
Relax Gaming’s portfolio is available with licensed operators across numerous regulated markets, including the United Kingdom, Ontario, Sweden, Denmark, Spain and the Netherlands, alongside a growing presence in other European jurisdictions.
