Kendoo enters Belgian market via deal with StarCasino.be

Online slot developer Kendoo has entered Belgium’s regulated gambling market for the first time, launching its portfolio of casino games through local operator Starcasino.

The agreement gives Belgian players access to Kendoo’s slots on the Starcasino.be platform, expanding the operator’s existing selection of online casino games and providing the supplier with a distribution partner in one of Europe’s more tightly regulated gambling markets.

The initial rollout includes titles featuring Hold and Win mechanics, jackpot-style features and the supplier’s Pots gameplay, with additional games expected to become available as Kendoo expands its portfolio.

Kendoo has focused on developing slots built around familiar bonus mechanics, combining traditional reel-based gameplay with features that offer players opportunities to trigger jackpots, collect prizes and unlock additional rewards.

The company has not disclosed the number of titles included in the initial Belgian launch or the financial terms of its agreement with Starcasino.

Olga Mugliett, Commercial Director at Kendoo, said the partnership represented an important step in the company’s international expansion.

“Entering the regulated Belgian market through our partnership with Starcasino is an important milestone for Kendoo,” she said.

“Belgium is a market where quality, reliability and a strong player experience are particularly important, and we are pleased to bring our portfolio to Starcasino’s players.

“This launch also reflects our wider focus on working with trusted operators and expanding Kendoo’s presence across regulated markets.”

Belgium operates a tightly controlled online gambling market overseen by the Belgian Gaming Commission, with online casino operators required to hold the appropriate authorisation linked to a licensed land-based gambling establishment.

Unlike some European jurisdictions that allow online-only casino businesses to obtain licences independently, Belgium generally requires online gambling operators to maintain a connection with an authorised physical gaming venue.

The country has also introduced increasingly restrictive gambling advertising rules and player protection measures, including a minimum gambling age of 21.

These requirements create a relatively limited market for international casino suppliers compared with jurisdictions offering broader licensing access.

For Kendoo, securing distribution through an established Belgian operator provides an opportunity to introduce its games to local customers without operating a consumer-facing casino business itself.

Starcasino offers online slots and live casino products to Belgian customers and has positioned its game selection as a key part of its competitive strategy.

Director at Starcasino Stefaan Maene said the operator intended to continue expanding the range of Kendoo titles available on its platform.

“Starcasino.be is the leading online casino in Belgium, and we stay there by giving players the widest choice of quality games in the market,” he said.

“Kendoo builds around mechanics Belgian players already know and like, such as Hold and Win and jackpot pots, and gives them fresh themes and features. We’re pleased to be Kendoo’s first partner in Belgium and look forward to adding more of their titles as the portfolio grows.”

The partnership adds Belgium to Kendoo’s growing international distribution network as the supplier continues pursuing agreements with operators in regulated gambling markets.
