AFL round 10 odds and fixture update

AFL round 12 odds 2021 - covid fixture update

AFL Round 10 kicks off on Monday, August 3, with the ladder leaders Port Adelaide hosting the hot-and-cold Western Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval.

Bookmakers have installed the Power as $1.50 favourites, with the Dogs as $2.60 outsiders after they were dismantled by Richmond in round nine.

The Dogs have failed dismally in their matches against the upper-echelon teams of late and they need to find something special here or risk losing touch with the top four.

AFL action of course continues every day, with round 10 concluding on Friday and round 11 immediately starting on Saturday.

The Tuesday, August 4, clash between Richmond ($1.78) and Brisbane Lions ($2.05) at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast is a clear match of the round, with the winners certain to rise significantly in premiership betting.

The Tigers have the advantage of an extra two days’ break, though the Lions barely broke a sweat in thrashing the hapless Essendon last Friday night.

AFL match previews and betting tips

There are two matches on Wednesday, with great interest in seeing how Geelong back up after playing on Saturday night and travelling from Perth to Brisbane to play North Melbourne at the Gabba.

Collingwood also must back up after playing in Perth on Sunday to face Sydney Swans at the Gabba on Thursday evening.

The intriguing Gold Coast-St Kilda match-up at Metricon Stadium follows on Thursday night, before round 10 concludes with the Essendon-GWS match on Friday night.

AFL 2020 premiership betting update

The action is coming thick and fast, with the big guns in betting firming throughout round, headed by West Coast.

Th Eagles are in again from $5 to $4.50 outright favourites after their gutsy win against Geelong on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, the Lions moved in from $6.50 to $5.50 with leading bookmaker Unitbet, and defending premiers Richmond jumped from $8 into $6.50 after an impressive win against the Bulldogs. The clash between these two teams on Tuesday will have big ramifications for premiership betting.

Ladders leaders Port are in from $9 into $8, with the red-hot Saints in from $21 to $17.

Essendon are head in the other direction, from $26 to be at $51 alongside Carlton and the disappointing Melbourne.

Meanwhile, Lions ace Lachie Neale turned in another vote-getting performance against Essendon and remains hot Brownlow Medal favourite.
