Mackay man wins $15million OzLotto draw

A Mackay man has been left in disbelief after discovering he was the sole division one winner in last night’s Oz Lotto draw, taking home the entire $15 million jackpot.

The North Queenslander, who purchased his winning 12-game QuickPick entry via The Lott app, struggled to find the words to express his shock and excitement when he received the life-changing news on Wednesday morning.

“Are you kidding me?! Holy s***!” he exclaimed. “Oh my lord! Oh my lord!

“I can’t believe it. Holy, holy, holy!

“I had no idea. I’m just starting my day at work. I have to call my parents and partner immediately!

“My mum is really into lotteries; she won’t believe it.

The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1619, drawn Tuesday, 25 February 2025, were 12, 8, 11, 30, 17, 46 and 18; while the supplementaries were 24, 37 and 42. The Mackay man’s ticket was confirmed as the only division one entry, securing the massive windfall for the Queenslander.

While still coming to terms with his newfound fortune, the lucky winner said he looked forward to planning his future and ensuring his family and friends also benefited from his good fortune.

The Lott has encouraged all players to check their tickets, as multiple division two and lower-tier prizes were also won in the latest draw.
