Welcome to our Geelong v Western Bulldogs betting tips and prediction for their AFL round…
Welcome to our GWS v Gold Coast betting tips and prediction for their AFL round 15 clash at ENGIE Stadium, Sydney, on Sunday.
The Giants are priced at $1.82 to defeat the Suns ($2) with this clash arguably the most important in their short histories, given both clubs are in finals contention.
The line has been set at 1.5 points in the Giants favour by most Australian betting sites.
The Giants are coming off an upset victory against Brisbane at the Gabba, with their star forward Jesse Hogan booting six goals, while Tom Green was dominant around the stoppages.
They will be boosted by the inclusion of forwards Jake Stringer and Toby Greene, while young wingman Ryan Angwin has also been recalled. The Giants lose experienced pair Sam Taylor, Brent Daniels and youngster Josaia Delana.
Gold Coast is coming off the bye but were soundly beaten a fortnight ago by Geelong, who showed they still have a way to go to match it with the heavyweights.
The Suns have recalled milestone man Lachie Weller, who will play his 150th match, while Ethan Read and Connor Budarick have also been recalled. Seam Lemmens, David Swallow and Leonardo Lombard have been left out.

Our AFL betting expert has assessed the markets and found some value GWS v Gold Coast tips:
The Giants have been dealt a horror blow with Sam Taylor ruled out for up to six weeks with a fractured toe, which leaves them light-on attempting to stop Suns Ben King, or even Jed Walter. King is paying $1.92 to kick 3+ goals, which will anchor one of our same game multis on this clash.
We can’t wait to see Green smash in against Suns ace Matt Rowell, with the two midfield bulls among the best in the competition. Green has clearly had the most influential career so far, but Rowell undoubtedly has ability. Who comes out on top here will go a long way to deciding the winner. We think it will be Green at $1.22 who will reach 25 possessions.
Brown has been in a rich run of form of late, kicking three goals in three of his last four matches and we can see this continuing on Sunday. He is also paying a juicy $2.70 to kick 2+ this week.
We are very confident in GWS’s ability to defeat the Suns here, who would be bitterly disappointed with the Geelong loss a fortnight ago. The Giants’ midfield looks to have more depth, while the impervious form of Jesse Hogan gives the more firepower than their opponent. The Suns big hope is if King can get hold of the Giants makeshift defence and kick a bag. Our final GWS v Gold Coast prediction? GWS by 23 points
