BBL|10 The Final: Sixers v Scorchers betting tips, prediction & odds

Scorchers v Renegades BBL10

Welcome to our Sydney Sixers v Perth Scorchers betting tips, winner prediction and odds analysis for The Final of the 2020-21 Big Bash League at the SCG, on Saturday, February 6.

The big question in the hours leading up to the final is will Scorchers’ star opener Jason Roy be fit to take his part. The English power hitter was a late withdrawal from the Challenger final against the Heat on Thursday after badly rolling his ankle in the warm-up for the game.

Cameron Bancroft slotted straight in for Roy at opener and made an unbeaten half century as the Scorchers thrashed the Heat in a slightly rain-affected game.

But the Scorchers will be desperate to include Roy against a team that thrashed them only a week ago.

The other big question mark over the game is how the pitch at the SCG will play as this is the first Big Bash League match at the ground this season.

There is also some rain about in Sydney so it is worth checking the weather closer to the match.

Read on for our free Sixers v Scorchers tips ahead of their T20 clash in Sydney on Saturday, February 6.

Sixers v Scorchers betting tips

Our cricket tipsters have examined the odds and found several Sixers v Scorchers tips for Saturday night’s BBL clash.

Josh Philippe man of the match

The Perth-born opener has been a constant thorn in the side of the Scorchers in recent seasons and no reason he won’t continue that here, though the Scorchers do boast an international-standard bowling attack. We will back Philippe to produce one more big innings in a season in which he has been ruled the player of the tournament by most.

Sixers to win at $1.95

It is a surprise to is that the odds-makers at Unibet have the Scorchers as favourites to win this game. It is on the Sixers’ home ground, the Scorchers played only on Thursday and the Sixers easily won the last meeting between the teams. Throw in the huge doubt on Roy playing and we are happy to be on the Sixers.

Sixers v Scorchers prediction 6/2/2021

This is the final most wanted as it is between the two most successful franchises in BBL history. The Scorchers have won three titles to the Sixers’ two, so the latter will be desperate to make it 3-3. They have also been laregly the two stand-out teams for the entire tournament, though the Thunder were also outstanding, particularly with their run-scoring. Our final Sixers v Scorchers prediction? Sixers to win a classic, with hopefully no rain interference.
