Cameron Bancroft slotted straight in for Roy at opener and made an unbeaten half century as the Scorchers thrashed the Heat in a slightly rain-affected game.

But the Scorchers will be desperate to include Roy against a team that thrashed them only a week ago.

The other big question mark over the game is how the pitch at the SCG will play as this is the first Big Bash League match at the ground this season.
