Caesars streams real casino roulette to New Jersey players
Caesars Entertainment has launched a new live roulette product allowing online casino customers in New Jersey to bet on spins taking place on a physical casino floor.
Remote Roulette streams directly from a roulette table inside Tropicana Atlantic City which is one of Caesars flagship venues located on the iconic Boardwalk.
Players online using Caesars Palace Casino can wager on the same roulette game being played by customers physically standing at the table.
Every spin therefore produces the same result for both the online and land-based players, giving the game a one-of-a-kind energy, with drama coming for both categories.
The product uses Evolution’s Dual Play Roulette technology.
Unlike conventional live casino games broadcast from purpose-built studios, Remote Roulette places the camera directly on a working casino-floor table.
Caesars Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer Matthew Sunderland said the product was designed to bring online customers closer to the company’s physical casino properties.
“Remote Roulette brings online players closer to the casino floor than ever before,” he said.
The product is available through the Live Casino section of Caesars Palace Online Casino to eligible players physically located in New Jersey.
New Jersey was one of the first US states to regulate real-money online casino gambling and remains one of the country’s largest iGaming markets.
The state permits licensed Atlantic City casinos and their online partners to offer slots, table games and live dealer products to customers located within New Jersey.
Caesars’ new product further blurs the line between online and retail casino gambling by allowing the same physical roulette table to serve both groups of players simultaneously.
