Greyville racing tips and form for May 27
Hollywoodbets Greyville will host an ultra-competitive eight race card on the polytrack on Wednesday, May 27, with several open handicaps set to test punters throughout the afternoon. Stuart Ferrie-trained filly Menagerie shapes as one of the standout runners on the programme after going down narrowly in both career starts, while Gareth van Zyl’s Grand Ocassion looks well placed to salute later on the card with a handy 2.5kg claimer engaged.
There also appears to be strong maiden form on display early in the meeting, with Bison Warrior, Liz Hurley and Barry’s Boy all bringing solid claims into their respective races. Lucinda Woodruff has enjoyed an eye-catching KZN Champions Season and her lone runner Barry’s Boy could continue that momentum against modest opposition. With several lightly raced runners, tricky handicaps and proven poly performers engaged, punters can expect an intriguing afternoon of South African racing at Greyville.
