Heat v Stars betting tips, prediction & odds; BBL Match 32 Preview

Scorchers v Renegades BBL10

Welcome to our Brisbane Heat v Melbourne Stars betting tips, winner prediction and odds analysis for Game 32 of the 2020-21 Big Bash League at Metricon Stadium, Gold Coast, on Thursday, January 7.

This is a vital clash for both teams but particularly the Heat, who have won three of their past four games to get their season back on track. They need another win here though to really get among the finals contenders.

Before you place any bets on this match, be aware that rain is a real possibility, with a bleak forecast for the Gold Coast.

BBL Match 31: Hurricanes v Thunder betting preview, tips

Glenn Maxwell’s Stars started the season in blazing fashion, including with a commanding win against the Heat early on. They have been a little inconsistent since, though they are coming off an impressive batting display to win against the Hurricanes in Hobart.

Heat captain Chris Lynn should be available for the entire match after returning as an X-Factor sub in their previous game and hopefully his hamstring issue is behind him.

The Stars are likely to be without left-handed batter Nic Maddinson, who rolled his ankle after stepping on the boundary rope against the ‘Canes and had to be subbed out of the game.

Read on for our free Heat v Stars tips ahead of their T20 clash at the Gold Coast on Thursday, January 7.

Heat v Stars betting tips

Our cricket tipsters have examined the odds and found several Heat v Stars tips for Thursday night’s BBL clash.

Adam Zampa more than 1.5 wickets at $2.50

Zampa is a master at white-ball cricket and should find conditions to suit. He looms as the biggest threat in the Stars’ bowling attack in the second half of this tournament.

Marcus Stoinis top run scorer for Stars

The powerhouse opener did the right thing by us by racking up 97 not out against the Hurricanes and we will stick with him here. Stoinis is apparently ready to bowl again too so must be a great contender for man of the match but we will just back him to top the runs tally for his team.

Heat v Stars prediction 7/1/2021

Unfortunately the weather may have a big say here but if we can get a match in it’s vital for the Heat to continue their resurgence. A loss and they are right back among the also-rans. Unfortunately for them Stoinis and Maxwell look super dangerous at the moment and that pair are as good as any T20 players in the world on their day. Our final Heat v Stars prediction? Stars too strong.
