IGT and rock band Queen team up for slots release
IGT has unveiled a new Queen Video Slots game at G2E in Las Vegas, combining 10 of the band’s songs with four bonus features and six jackpots.
The new casino slot is being demonstrated for the first time at the 2026 Global Gaming Expo and will debut on IGT’s new Summit75 cabinet.
IGT developed the game with Queen licensor Ceremony of Roses, a Sony Music Entertainment subsidiary.
The Queen slot, which features four bonuses and six jackpots, uses music, photographs and video featuring all four original members of the band, with the 10 songs incorporated into the game including Bohemian Rhapsody, Don’t Stop Me Now and We Are the Champions.
IGT CEO Hector Fernandez said the band’s international recognition made it particularly well suited to a slot machine launch .
“Queen is one of the rare bands with truly global reach and lasting, cross-generational appeal, making it a powerful brand for IGT to bring to casino floors,” Fernandez said.
“With Queen Video Slots, our talented studio teams tapped their passion for Queen’s music and legacy to create a high-impact game that quickly captivates music fans and slot players.
“The game also reflects the kind of standout content that is anchoring IGT’s transformation and helping us create more magnetic gaming experiences.”
The slot is also one of the launch games for the Summit75, a new cabinet IGT is using to showcase premium titles.
The machine uses a large vertical display, expanded player panel and upgraded audio to create a more immersive presentation on casino floors.
Incoming IGT Chief Studios Officer Jamie Knight said the cabinet was an important part of the game rather than simply the hardware running it.
“Developing Queen Video Slots was an exciting opportunity for IGT’s studio talent to transform one of the world’s most celebrated music legacies into a dynamic gaming experience,” Knight said.
“From the music and imagery to the pacing of the bonuses, every creative choice was designed to immerse players in the energy of Queen.
“The Summit75 cabinet amplifies that experience with a powerful presentation that makes the game feel vibrant, cinematic and highly engaging.”
The launch comes during an important G2E for IGT.
The company appearing in Las Vegas this week is the new IGT formed from the combination of the former International Game Technology Gaming & Digital business and Everi Holdings.
Its operations now span land-based gaming machines, casino systems, online casino, sports betting, payments, loyalty and financial technology.
That makes Queen Video Slots one of the first major branded games being used to showcase the combined company’s casino-content strategy.
IGT has not yet announced a general casino-floor release date for Queen Video Slots.
