IGT players win $18.3m in June slots jackpots
IGT paid out almost US$17 million in land-based slot jackpots across the United States and a further CAD$1.35 million in Canada during June, with five players becoming millionaires through its Megabucks, Powerbucks and Wheel of Fortune games.
The biggest win of the month came on June 16 when a player landed US$10.29 million playing Megabucks Wolf Run Eclipse at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. IGT said it was one of the largest slot jackpots ever awarded at the property.

Another notable prize was won at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, where a traveller collected US$3.31 million on Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Triple Red Hot 7s on June 28.
Atlantic City also celebrated its biggest land-based slot jackpot of the year when a player won US$1.78 million on Wheel of Fortune Double Times Pay 3x4x5x at Resorts Casino Hotel on June 8.
Elsewhere, a guest at Edgewater Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada, pocketed US$1.53 million playing Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Big Money on June 18.
In Canada, an online casino player in Ontario won CAD$1.35 million on Wheel of Fortune Hawaiian Getaway through IGT’s Powerbucks progressive jackpot on June 22.
IGT said its Wheel of Fortune Slots portfolio has created more than 1,200 millionaires and awarded more than US$3.6 billion in jackpots since launching in 1996. Meanwhile, Powerbucks has paid more than 78 jackpots of CAD$1 million or more since debuting in Canada in 2016.
