Net Ent & Red Tiger combine to win top gong at Global Gaming Awards

A Red Tiger Gaming and Net Ent collaboration has won Casino Product of the Year at the 2021 Global Gaming Awards, with Gonzo’s Quest Megaways receiving the top gong.

Despite being evaluated against a host of other new online slots, judges decided the title was the product that “advanced the industry most in the past 12 months.”

The original Gonzo’s Quest game, which is among NetEnt’s best-ever performers, was the first video slot to use avalanche symbols in place of a conventional reel.

And yet fellow Evolution Group owned studio Red Tiger was able to add further layers of excitement with the celebrated Megaways functionality, licensed by Big Time Gaming, which varies the ways to win on every spin.

“Players have been telling us from day one that Gonzo’s Quest Megaways is a winner and we are delighted that has now been confirmed by the panel of judges,” Evolution’s Commercial Director Gavin Hamilton said.

 “The award is fitting reward for the hard-working teams not only at NetEnt and Red Tiger, but with our great friends at Big Time Gaming, who deserve credit where it is due.”
