NRL Round 6 odds and betting update 2022

Manly will be the latest team to attempt to inflict more pain on the Brisbane Broncos, with the Sea Eagles installed unbackable favourites for Thursday night’s NRL clash from Central Coast Stadium.

The Sea Eagles’ odds of $1.21 in this game are more a reflection of the Broncos’ horror form since the NRL season restarted, rather than Manly being overly convincing.

The Broncos have struggled with the new “six-again” rule and have lacked cohesion with several injuries and big-name departures rocking them since last season’s finals appearance.

On Friday night the NRL season will continue with a double-header, with the North Queensland Cowboys the $1.42 favourites to defeat the New Zealand Warriors ($2.85), with the later match between rising powers Parramatta and Penrith.

The Eels have impressed in their two games since the COVID-19 layoff, defeating Manly and thrashing the Broncos to move into equal second favourite for the NRL premiership at $5. The Parramatta team are priced at $1.44 to defeat the Penrith Panthers.

On Saturday, the Rabbitohs have been installed a short-priced favourite with NRL betting sites in their clash against the Titans, while the Storm are expected to defeat the Knights and the Wests Tigers are underdogs against the Canberra Raiders.

Premiership favourite the Sydney Roosters are priced at $1.11 to defeat the Bulldogs ($6.50) in Sunday’s early game, while the Sharks are expected to defeat the Dragons in the last game of NRL round 5 if the betting is to be believed.
