PGL Bucharest semi final betting picks
Our esports betting expert has assessed the PGL Bucharest semi final markets, and found some value tips.
Nemiga v Team Vitality
Nemiga have been one of the surprise packages at PGL Masters Bucharest, winning three consecutive matches 2-0, including an impressive quarter-final victory over the higher-ranked FUT. However, they now face their toughest assignment against Team Vitality, who defeated Natus Vincere 2-1 to reach the semi-finals.
Vitality have maintained their strong form despite playing without regular in-game leader apEX, with jL standing in and mezii taking over calling duties. Nemiga’s syph0 has been outstanding throughout the tournament, but Vitality possess considerably greater experience and firepower, led by ZywOo. Nemiga have demonstrated their ability to upset stronger opponents, although Vitality’s superior quality across the map pool should prove decisive.
Our tip: Team Vitality to win 2-0.
Mouz v Furia
MOUZ produced arguably the most dominant performance of the quarter-finals, dismantling Aurora Gaming 2-0 with convincing 13-6 and 13-2 victories. They have now won four consecutive matches, including an impressive comeback victory over Team Spirit during the Swiss stage.
FURIA have also found form at the right time, winning three consecutive matches and defeating BetBoom 2-0 in their quarter-final. The Brazilian organisation holds a narrow advantage in the HLTV rankings, sitting third compared with MOUZ in fourth, although MOUZ are ranked higher in Valve’s standings.
This shapes as a considerably tighter contest than the other semi-final, with both teams carrying strong momentum. MOUZ’s commanding quarter-final performance gives them a slight edge, but FURIA have enough quality to take a map.
Our tip: MOUZ to win 2-1.
