Sixers v Heat betting tips, prediction & odds; BBL Match 35 Preview
Welcome to our Sydney Sixers v Brisbane Heat betting tips, winner prediction and odds analysis for Game 35 of the 2020-21 Big Bash League at Metricon Stadium, Gold Coast, on Sunday, January 10.
The Sixers are sitting in second spot on the ladder despite a couple of recent losses, including when these teams clashed just over a week ago at the Gabba. They also collapsed meekly against the surging Scorchers at their most recent outing.
In the Heat they face another team which is surging. The Brisbane team has relished being back in their home state and also regaining captain Chris Lynn from a hamstring injury. The Heat have won four of their past five matches and another win here would take them into the top four for the first time this season.
The Heat are expected to lose star Mujeeb Ur Rahman to international duties soon, so need to cash in while the mystery spinner is still available. They have former South Africa superstar Morne Morkel close to being available.
Consistent rain is forecast for the Gold Coast for this match so tread warily with your wagers. One team is generally highly favoured by the Duckworth-Lewis system in T20s so it might be wise to stick to the player markets, and if a match is shortened obviously it’s harder for players down the order to get much of a bat.
Read on for our free Sixers v Heat tips ahead of their T20 clash at the Gold Coast on Sunday, January 10.

Sixers v Heat betting tips
Our cricket tipsters have examined the odds and found several Sixers v Heat tips for Sunday night’s BBL clash.
Daniel Christian man of the match
The veteran Sixers all-rounder could be moved up the order if the match is shortened because he can score runs at an extraordinary rate. Christian’s strike rate is above 200 their BBL season. He can also stingy with the ball so again could be called up if the match is shortened. Looms as a key figure.
Max Bryant top run-scorer for Heat
The dashing opener has run into a string of good form but has not really gone on to post a big score. This could be his day.
Sixers v Heat prediction 10/1/2021
The weather seems certain to have a big impact on this match but it is a good match-up between one of the top teams and another team in the Heat which has struck form after a dismall start. Wins become ever more valuable with the finals not too far away. So it’s the Sixers back to the top of the table, or the Heat to move into the mix. Either way it should be a cracking contest with superstar T20 players such as Lynn and Josh Philippe engaged. Our final Heat v Stars prediction? Sixers to prove a little too strong this time.
