Sydney Sixers v Melbourne Renegades betting tips & prediction; BBL|10 Preview
Welcome to our Sydney Sixers v Melbourne Renegades betting tips, prediction and odds analysis ahead of their Big Bash League clash at Blundstone Arena on Sunday night.
The Renegades are paying $1.73 in the betting, with the defending champions the Sixers at $2.10 to level their ledger at 1-1. The Gades won their season opener on Saturday night against the Scorchers in dashing style.
The Sixers fell 16 runs short in their opening Big Bash League fixture against Hobart Hurricanes, with their middle order letting them down after Jack Edwards (47 from 39) and James Vince (67 from 41) put them within striking distance.
The Renegades look to have a better batting line-up than their opponent and boast several of the most talented T20 prospects in the country in Mackenzie Harvey, Will Sutherland and Jake Fraser-McGurk.
The Sixers have great depth in their all-rounder positions with the likes of Carlos Braithwaite and Dan Christian joining the club, but they are missing the likes of Josh Hazlewood and Steve Smith after their super late-season cameos last year.
This clash is shaping as an absolute belter, but it would be remiss not to mention the rain predicted for Hobart on Sunday, which you should check before placing any bets.

Sixers v Renegades tips
Renegades to hit most sixes in match
The Renegades look to have their opponent comfortably beaten in the power stakes, with Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh at the top of the order. The Sixers bowling attack is a little bit depleted, with Josh Hazlewood (left club), Tom Curran (England duties), Sean Abbott (Australia) and Jason Holder still in New Zealand with the West Indies. Jump on the ‘Gades here at $1.90.
Sydney Sixers v Melbourne Renegades prediction 13/12/2020
The Melbourne Renegades should be confident heading into this clash with the depleted Sixers, who are set to be seriously boosted in the second half of the tournament, by the likes of Test paceman Mitchell Starc. For now though we think the red team from Melbourne looks to be a bit stronger on paper and the fact they are around $1.80 with some betting sites, just makes them all the more attractive. Our final Sixers v Renegades prediction? Renegades by 22 runs or five wickets.
