NRL Friday: Penrith v Melbourne, predictions & odds, round 6, 2020

The Friday match of the day pits Penrith against Melbourne Storm at Campbelltown Stadium in Sydney.
It is another opportunity for the Penrith side to measure itself against one of the power teams of the competition after the Panthers fell in a heap last week against Parramatta after leading 10-0, eventually losing 16-10.
The Storm resumed a little shakily after the COVID-19 hiatus but normal service has been resumed with wins over South Sydney 22-8 and Newcastle 26-12.

NRL Saturday: Sydney Roosters v Parramatta Eels betting preview
Good news for the Panthers is they regain dashing fullback Dylan Edwards, while the Storm could have halfback Jahrome Hughes back in the starting side.
Melbourne Storm have dominated matches between these teams, winning 18 of the past 20. When the teams met last year, the Storm were 32-2 winners at Carrington Park in Bathurst.

Panthers v Storm free betting tips
Below our NRL betting expert has highlighted his free tips for the Penrith Panthers v Melbourne Storm clash.
Penrith +4.5 points/match total over 34.5 points
This double means the Panthers need to win outright or lose by four points or less, and also for the match total to be over 34.5 points. Unibet was offering $3.90 about this option.
Josh Addo-Carr to score the first try
We will roll the dice with a small bet on the flying Melbourne winger to score first in this match. The Fox has scored only one try so far this season and he is due to land another.
Penrith Panthers v Melbourne Storm prediction
This looms as a great contest between two teams capable of playing a major role in the finals action. We tipped Penrith with confidence last week against top team Parramatta and they came so close to getting the job done. We think they will put up another great effort here and get over the line in a thriller. Having another attacking weapon in fullback Edwards will really help.
