Australian Survivor: All Stars final five — Can anyone knife the Golden God?

David Genat is the favourite in betting to win Australian Survivor: All Stars

Australian Survivor: All Stars is down to the final five, and Sportsbet.com.au is still taking bets on the reality TV show.

Betting on Australian Survivor is expected to skyrocket in the coming days, with almost all professional sports shut down because of the coronavirus.

David “The Golden God” Genat, a US-based supermodel is the short-priced $1.30 favourite with bookmakers to win All Stars, but he has a huge target on his back given his cunning and somewhat outrageous gameplay.

On the second line of Australian Survivor: All Stars betting, at $3.75 is Victorian barrister Sharn Coombes, who is currently in an alliance with Genat, but has been agitating making a move on the favourite for many weeks.

Mark “Tarzan” Herlaar, a lovable grandfather and retired lime farmer from Queensland, is paying $6.50 despite largely playing under the influence of Genat and not really building an independent resume.

Moana Hope, an AFLW footballer, has been the surprise packet of Survivor: All Stars and claims to be “playing the game no one knows she is playing”, which is a dangerous trait in a game where the eliminated players vote on the eventual winner. She does however have strong bonds with Genat, Coombes and Tarzan. Hope is paying $8.50 to win All Stars.

Brooke Jowett is the player expected to be under the pump on Monday night, which is reflected in the betting with the diminutive challenge beast priced at $41 to win All Stars. Jowett has slowly seen her alliance eliminated with the latest to go being Aaron “AK” Knight.

Survivor Australia: All Stars Winner prediction

Australian Survivor: All Stars will be won by David Genat if he makes it to the final tribal council — there is little doubt about that. The price is too short for our liking, so the question we need to ask ourselves is: can anyone beat him?

Brooke is capable of winning All Stars because of her close ties on the jury, but will need to go on an immunity run to do so, which is not beyond her, given her outstanding record in challenges this season. This makes the $41 on offer for a Jowett win outstanding, but you will be holding onto your rosary beads if you bet on her with a long way to the finish line.

If you are looking for a value bet on Survivor Australia: All Stars we really like Hope at $8.50. She has played a similar game to last season’s winner Pia Miranda, has strong ties on the jury, received a favourable edit, and has not upset as many jurors as Coombes.

We really don’t think Tarzan, unless he orchestrates and pulls off a massive blindside of David, is any chance of winning the $500,000.

Meanwhile, it has been announced that the sixth season of Australian Survivor, due to be filmed later in 2020, has been delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
