Betfred SkyPilot crash tournament offers R550,000 in prizes
Betfred South Africa players can compete for a share of R550,000 in cash prizes in a new SkyPilot leaderboard tournament running until the end of November.
The SkyPilot Tournament Series is split into three monthly phases, with R185,000 available each month and prizes paid through daily and weekly leaderboards. The first phase runs throughout September, followed by October and November competitions.
Players simply need to log into their Betfred account and play SkyPilot for real money, with every rand wagered earning leaderboard points.
The top 10 players each day receive cash prizes, with R2,000 for first, R900 for second and R185 for players finishing third through 10th.
There are bigger prizes available through the weekly leaderboard. First place receives R5,500, second gets R3,300 and positions three through 10 receive R370 each.
SkyPilot is one of the crash games Betfred prominently offers to its South African customers alongside its sportsbook, casino and horse racing products.
Importantly, the R550,000 promotion is a network tournament operated by Aardvark, rather than a Betfred-only competition. The prize pool is shared among players at participating operators on the Aardvark network.
That means South African players taking part through Betfred will be competing on the wider network leaderboard.

Betfred SkyPilot tournament terms and conditions
The promotion runs from September 1 to November 30, 2026 and is available to Betfred online customers only.
Players must have a Betfred account that has successfully completed FICA verification. Leaderboard points are earned through real-money wagers on SkyPilot, with every rand wagered generating leaderboard points.
Daily and weekly leaderboards both reward the top 10 players. If players finish with identical scores, the player who reached the score first receives the higher position.
Prizes are credited within 48 hours of the relevant checkpoint. Daily prizes are replaced by the larger weekly prizes on Weekly Grand Prize checkpoint days.
The advertised R550,000 prize pool is shared across participating operators in the Aardvark network and may vary due to exchange-rate movements.
