Essendon v North Melbourne betting tips, prediction and odds; AFL rd 6 preview
Essendon and North Melbourne have joined the mass migration to Queensland and clash at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast on Saturday night.
The Bombers are sitting in fifth spot on the ladder after upsetting Collingwood last week, while the Kangaroos have lost their past three matches to slip to 13th.
There is plenty on the line, especially for the Kangaroos as another loss here would leave their finals hopes hanging by a thread.

The Roos have lost tough midfielder Ben Cunnington to injury and dropped Marley Williams and Tristan Xerri, and brought in youngsters Bailey Scott, Paul Ahern, Tom Campbell.

The loss of Stringer to an ankle injury is going to make it tough for Essendon who have not been the most free-scoring of teams. They have done well this season so far and have played a match less than all bar one other team, but their lofty ladder position may be a little misleading. This match is a 50-50 contest so we have to go with the underdogs.

The Bombers have won their past four matches against the Kangaroos by an average of almost 27 points but their most recent clash was the closest, winning by just five points. We expect this will be another close one, with the Kangaroos bouncing back from a few disappointments to win by 10 points.
