RWC'19 USA Betting preview and free predictions - Rugby World Cup

Welcome to our betting preview of match 19 of the Rugby World Cup between France and USA at Fukuoka Hakatanomori Stadium on Wednesday, October 2.
To be honest, Typhoon Mitag has been closing in on Fukuoka and there is some chance this match will not go ahead, which is something of a disaster for the the French, who are expected to win quite comfortably.
A washout would mean France and USA split the points, which throws open the Pool C race once again, with France and Argentina the most likely candidates to finish second in the group behind short-priced England.
Of course, weather is a fickle creature so we will press ahead with our betting preview regardless.
“The latest information indicates that the typhoon is moving further away from Japan’s coastline than originally predicted and the impact risk is reducing,” World Rugby said in a statement on Sunday.
If a World Cup match is disrupted by adverse weather it is cancelled and ruled a draw, with sides awarded two points each.
If it goes ahead there are still likely to be extremely wet and windy conditions so we urge caution about taking on any big handicap against France. Tries could be tough to come by, though Les Bleus are renowned scrummagers and more accustomed to those sorts of conditions anyway.

France v United States prediction: If you are considering a bet here, we suggest you wait until just before kick-off to get the latest on the conditions. France were quick out of the blocks against the Pumas and should find less resistance from the Americans, who were outmatched against the top-notch English. Keep in mind though that France coach Jacques Brunel has swung the changes, with 12 changes so they retain just three of the starting XV players from the first-up clash. So they may take some time to gel.

Best bets for France v United States RWC2019 match

Louis Picamoles to score a try

The veteran French No.8 is due to captain the side for the first time. With a forward battle expected we can see him chiming in to give his team a lift. At the time of writing the markets had not been finalised but this bet should be $3-plus.

USA-France half-time/full-time double

This option is around the $11 mark and our reasoning is simple. France could be a little slow into stride thanks to all the changes and the inclement weather. But they should then be able to kick into gear. A bit of a longshot this one but worth a small investment.
