Fremantle v Port Adelaide betting tips, prediction and odds update, AFL Rd 3 preview

AFL round 12 odds 2021 - covid fixture update

The Dockers-Power clash is the second match of a ”double-header” at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast, though the match times were adjusted to allow for more time in between after the COVID-19 positive test at Essendon.

The first match is the Gold Coast Coast Suns against the Adelaide Crows, but we think this is the better of the two matches and have focused on this one.

Fremantle are of course in the south-east Queensland hub and lost by a couple of goals to Brisbane at the Gabba in their first match after the restart. This is their first “home” match while based on the Gold Coast.

Fremantle v Port Adelaide betting tips

Our AFL betting expert has scoured the odds for some value and found several quality Dockers v Power tips ahead of Sunday night’s game.

Fremantle +17.5 points at $1.90

While it’s not a home match in the true sense of the word, they have at least settled in now and may well be able to get the jump on the Power. They were competitive against the Lions and the three ins should give them a good lift.

Michael Walters most goals

Hogan was recruited to be the focal point and his return could well allow a player as good as Walters to cut loose. Hogan will be well short of a gallop but Walters is one of the best small forwards in the game, though he will spend plenty of time in midfield.

Fremantle Dockers v Port Adelaide Power prediction 21/6/2020

Plenty of storylines to make this an interesting clash to watch even for the neutral fan. Hogan’s return after a long time sidelined with injury and mental health issues, along with the return of gun midfielder Wines for Port. We are confident the Dockers will spring something of a surprise here and this match will go down to the wire. Dockers by five points.
