HollywoodBets and Cricket South Africa strike sponsorship deal

HollywoodBets, one of the biggest sports betting operators in South Africa, has announced it will financially back Cricket South Africa’s bid to have tours broadcast live on free-to-air television.
International teams touring against South Africa will be shown across the country via SABC 3, sabcsport.com and SABC + in a major boost for the sport.
Cricket South Africa believe the deal with the South African Broadcasting Commission will deliver real results for fans.

“We are glad cricket is being made available through free-to-air broadcast, ensuring access and inclusion for all fans around the country,” CSA Chief Executive Officer Pholetsi Moseki said.
“We look forward to strengthening this partnership with the national broadcaster for many years to come and welcome all sporting fans to sit back and enjoy the game of cricket and all it has to offer.”
South Africa is due to kick off a two Test series against Sri Lanka on November 27, with the second Test beginning on December 5. They will then host Pakistan in a three match T20 series.
HollywoodBets, which has over 100 branches across South Africa, is one of the biggest sponsors of South Africa sport, which has not gone unnoticed by the SABC.

South Africa is favoured to defeat Sri Lanka in the first Test, with HollywoodBets having them marked at 1.55 to win the match, while the Lions are at 3.75 to win.
